Business Design Consultant Principal (Job Number:11125)

Summary:
This position will work with leadership and with a cross functional team to drive the development of the business design required to advance significant corporate or product initiatives. The incumbent will ensure the design meets existing and emerging market, purchaser, provider, and member requirements. The incumbent will drive the resolution of complex business issues, shape emerging business opportunities and requirements and help the business effectively manage change. Incumbent will be required to lead large virtual teams across the organization and drive for results within tight deadlines. The incumbent serves as the liaison between commercial markets and other areas of the enterprise
Accountabilities:
1. Develop and document market requirements and business design required to support new products and services. Manage the development of both business solutions and application solutions, focusing on both the business implications of technology and the technology on the business.
2. Drive business decision making process to ensure capabilities, systems and processes meet market expectations and that alternate approaches are vetted and explored
3. Drive business process change and readiness
4. Drive the internal and external communications plan
5. Work with cross functional teams to ensure initiatives and projects are successfully implemented
6. Coordinate resource needs from commercial markets for key projects
7. Collaborate with business stakeholders to facilitate the analysis and development of cost benefit quantification.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 5 years experience in project management, process design, or consulting, or 9 years experience in project management, process design, or consulting in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years experience in product management, client implementation, client management or business enterprise consulting.
- Demonstrated organizational relationship management skills.
- Strong creative problem solving skills, conflict resolution, facilitation and negotiation skills, adapting approach as needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently, and demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes.
- Strong personal computing skills with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project
- Proven ability to handle a variety of assignments in a fast paced and complex business environment
- Strong knowledge of the health care industry, payer business models, business segments and products
- Proven ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ SFDC system admin experience (certified preferred)
- 3+ years of strong SFDC reporting and workflow development skills
- SFDC developer skills
- 1 year of business requirement gathering skill, functional design documentation skill, test scenario/case documentation skill
- 3+ years of Data analytical knowledge with BI application experiences (SAP, SAS, Oracle, etc)
- 1+ major project implementation experience
- User training and support
- Vendor management experience
- MBA / MIS preferred
- Strong MS Access skill and data warehouse knowledge
- Application or IT architecture knowledge (a big plus)
- Strategic planning and technical roadmap skills and experience
