Marketing Consultant Sr, Consumer Experience
No stranger to programmatic marketing, this team member will successful in their first year by way of creating and launching communication offerings for various consumer groups. He or She will create strong partnerships with Business to Business team members, as to ensure step and repeat offerings as appropriate, across business lines. Successful implementation and integration into current systems while moving the new offerings to market will help to measure the success of this team member, in addition to demonstration of positive engagement numbers.
Marketing Consultant Sr, Business-to-Business
This individual will be successful in the first year by way of implementation of key marketing strategies designed to drive engagement. Working closely with other marketing team members, he or she will be a step ahead when marketing plan execution is ready prior to planned market launch timing. Additionally, he or she will realize success by way of reporting back key updates and measures related to marketing program implementation and execution. Building strong relationships in and outside of the marketing team is critical, as is the ongoing management and understanding of the systems which support marketing plan execution (ie., Salesforce, internal systems & portal management, etc.).
Summary:
Responsible for the development and execution of winning go-to market strategies in support of annual marketing plan for assigned product lines. Coordinates internal and external resources to provide disciplined planning, testing, implementation and measurement of multi-level acquisition and retention marketing plans. Understands key sales channels customer needs and translates key value propositions into compelling customer and consumer messaging for use in multi-level marketing and communications programs. Works collaboratively with Marketing Conslt Sr. and Manager of Marketing to execute marketing strategies or communication plans.
Accountabilities:
1. Coordinates and manages tactical plans for winning go-to-market strategies for emerging markets, product launches, service opportunities and other market opportunities to ensure growth/retention of segment.
2. Collaborates with sales and product divisions on ongoing development of product and sales strategies.
3. Supports implementation of segment specific value proposition and customer experiences to meet the needs of all channels.
4. Provides reports and summarizes annual strategic marketing plan efforts that align directly with business and sales goals.
5. Works with segment team members to define new approach to retention and acquisition efforts.
6. Executes implementation of marketing and communications plans and projects, providing updates to project team and business partners on an on-going basis.
7. Supports measurement and evaluation of effectiveness for product and segment marketing programs including acquisition and retention metrics and ROI.
8. Program manager for acquisition and retention strategies for their segment area of responsibility
9. Coordinates internal introduction and support teams and external vendors and other business partners as needed to develop and implement marketing plans.
10. Represents marketing on working teams as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, and 5 years healthcare marketing experience, or 9 years healthcare marketing experience in lieu of a degree.
*
Knowledge of applied marketing practices.
*
Demonstrated analytical skills and independent problem solving.
*
Demonstrated project and time management skills for handling many changing priorities and working under tight deadlines.
*
Strong critical thinking and organizational skills.
*
Previous experience partnering with Sales / Product team members.
*
Strong oral and written communication.
*
Ability to excel in collaborative work environment.
*
Experience managing execution of marketing programs, such a loyalty, affinity and growth.
*
Knowledge of healthcare industry.
*
For B2C market segment: Must complete and pass annual certification about the Medicare program, Blue Cross/Blue Plus Medicare products, Fraud, Waste & Abuse and other topics as required by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Blue Cross
