Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for proactively assessing organizational needs resulting in the development of learning experiences, initiatives, consulting engagements or organizational development interventions designed to address learning or development needs. The position is designed to positively impact the strategic priorities of the organization through building increased capability and engagement at all employee levels. Team members who have had the greatest success are those who have demonstrated their commitment to meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers.

Accountabilities:

1. Assess customer needs through the use of effective consulting skills in order to determine if the situation requires the support of Talent and Development and to what degree.
2. Partner, consult with and coach HRBP’s, senior leaders and business customers on learning and development / OD opportunities and interventions.
3. Recommend appropriate solutions to meet or exceed customer needs.
4. Design, develop, implement and measure learning solutions that are targeted to increase performance and drive business results.
5. Identify delivery methodology to meet desired learning or development outcomes (i.e. blended solutions, online, webinar or instructor led.).
6. Manage projects to ensure that deliverables and timelines are met through the use of internal resources or vendors and within the allocated budget.
7. Facilitate learning solutions or identify other internal /external resources as needed.
8. Work with internal systems (Learning, Talent, and Performance Management) to maximize the employee/learner experience, their continued development and the deployment of available tools.
9. Implement communication strategies in partnership with Corporate Communications in order to increase customer engagement in Talent initiatives and development opportunities.
10. Leverage industry trends and best practice data.
11. Participate on special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field plus 5 years of professional HR/ Talent Management or related experience. (Or 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.)
- 3 years of organizational consulting experience
- Large scale, enterprise wide, project management experience
- Experience with organizational assessment and design tools
- Demonstrated influence, negotiation, consulting and problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and social networking technologies
- Experience interacting with performance and talent management systems
- Demonstrated, effective presentation and facilitation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with learning technologies such as elearning, authoring tools and web delivery systems
- Masters Degree
