Change Management & Talent Development Consultant Sr (Job Number:10393)

Summary:
This position is responsible for proactively providing change management expertise, coaching, and project management knowledge to drive the execution of critical business initiatives. This will be accomplished through the application of the Blue Cross change management framework and tools used to drive projects and upskill employees. The position is designed to positively impact the strategic priorities of the organization through building increased capability and engagement at all employee levels. Team members who have had the greatest success are those who have demonstrated their commitment to understanding consumer and enterprise requirements as well as collaborating to achieve sustainable business results.
Accountabilities:
1. Assess current environment and future state requirements to order to identify gaps when assigned to the most urgent business priorities.
2. Apply strong change consulting and change leadership skills to positively affect behavior and achievement of identified business goals.
3. Partner, collaborate with and coach HRBP’s, senior leaders and business customers on change methodology and how to prepare the environment for effective integration of change resources.
4. Assess customer needs through the use of effective consulting skills in order to determine if the situation requires additional support from Talent Development and to what degree.
5. Guide the business transformation with strong emphasis on talent/people, strategy, and process improvement.
6. Leverage and adapt existing methodology and playbook to drive the business initiative by focusing on the critical few objectives that add the most value.
7. Recommend appropriate innovative solutions to meet or exceed the stated business requirements.
8. Determine metrics and evaluation strategy to provide meaningful reports and/or data that demonstrates progress.
9. Implement communication strategies in partnership with Corporate Communications and/or Talent Development
10. Leverage industry trends and best practice data.
11. Participate on special talent related projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field plus 5 years of professional HR/Talent Management or related experience, or 9 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3+ years of proven experience managing large scale change on complex projects using change management methodology
- Experiencing creating and executing plans to drive employee behavior change
- Coaching experience with senior level leaders and project teams
- Demonstrated influence without authority, negotiation, consulting and problem solving skills
- Experience interacting with performance and talent management systems
- Demonstrated, effective presentation, facilitation and communication skills
- Application of organizational design principles within large scale change as needed
- Navigate ambiguity, and activate inquiry skills
- Quickly build trusting relationships and act as a business partner – consulting to meeting the needs of a business
