Summary:
This position is responsible for analysis, implementation, and process improvement activities in support of the Consumer Markets team. This position collaborates with business partners/owners to collect, validate, and document requirements of project stakeholders and translate these for handoff to project leads, development and testing resources.. This position performs analysis and research, prepares reports and analyzes trends to support Consumer Markets. This position will also serve as a Consumer Markets SME on cross-functional workgroups.
Accountabilities:
1. Defines project requirements and perform business analysis. Develops project plans and schedules. Facilitates process analysis and modeling, requirements analysis, workflow, and performance (productivity and quality) measurement. Assists in monitoring implementation and post-implementation follow-up activities. Facilitates the collection of requirements from business stakeholders.
2. Designs test cases and testing specifications to test, track, and detect defects in software programs. Executes program tests to detect errors in code, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to standards and methodologies.
3. Directs and coordinates individual projects and related activities to ensure project progresses on schedule. Maintains adequate communication regarding project progresses. Maintains adequate communication regarding project status, risks, issues, and priorities with project sponsors and Channel Management leadership.
4. Assists individuals and teams (both internal and external) in identifying process improvement and analyze operational opportunities. Facilitates sessions focused on business process improvements, assists stakeholders with documenting, standardizing, and leveraging improvements across the organization.
5. Acts as a liaison with internal partners and external partners to identify opportunities and needs and researches/develops implementation plans for meeting these needs.
6. Conducts in-depth research and analysis. Identifies trends and emerging issues and recommends best practices to ensure maximum performance and develops performance measures. Documents performance measurements and process changes.
7. Assists in the development of organization policies, procedures, and training materials.
8. Communicates with leadership regarding the performance of the project during its existence.
9. Develops organization business policies and workflows.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years work experience in areas listed below; or 9 years related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in project management and deployment of business operations initiatives.
- Experience in requirements gathering and business process modeling.
- Ability to identify work-flows and recommend areas for improvement.
- Must be able to work effectively with cross functional groups and participate in problem solving process.
- Strong experience in the following skill sets:
- Communication – ability to speak clearly and concisely, in both verbal and written formats. ·
- Organizational – ability to gather, categorize and prioritize information ·
- Interpersonal – ability to listen, observe, and facilitate group discussions ·
- Management – ability to negotiate priorities and resolve conflicts among stakeholders
- Self motivated with a strong initiative to learn.
- Ability to communicate to all levels of management. ·
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio
Preferred Qualifications:
- Health plan insurance experience preferred
