Marketing Account Specialist Associate (Job Number:11229)

Summary:
This position is responsible for executing assigned marketing tactics in support of specific department projects, strategies, and programs for their aligned market segment. They will assist the Marketing Manager and team in executing the go-to market plans for acquisition and retention strategies on existing and new products and services across their designated segment. This position works as a part of the larger team and may provide project management and coordination for various aspects of the marketing plans and initiatives to ensure timely and effective implementation. This role will work collaboratively with a wide range of internal stakeholders (product, creative services, sales, and compliance) in order to execute on the market segment plans.
Accountabilities:
1. Support execution of marketing and communication tactics, creative projects, special events, and community engagement efforts for their designated market segment
2. Assist with execution of marketing strategies for emerging markets, product and service opportunities and other plans to grow market share
3. Assist in coordinating schedules with tight deadlines; works with other marketing areas to ensure that tasks are coordinated and scheduled in order to meet the deadlines
4. Introduce innovative ways to align processes and tactics that improves efficiency
5. Create, maintain and execute less complex project plans and other documentation such as process flows, timelines, tracking logs and facilitate less complex efforts to assist the Marketing Manager and team.
6. Gather data and analysis to evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns for designated market segment.
7. Maintains understanding of state and federal marketing regulations and guidance to provide consultation to team and clients regarding material development and submission rules.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree preferably in marketing, communications or business programs with 1 year of related job experience in a business marketing position.
- Project management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative and consultative approach that drives to decisions and results.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills for working with business partners, vendors, cross functional teams and to make presentations.
- Social marketing and online marketing experience.
- Creative and analytical, ability to problem solve and be resourceful in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated computer skills in the use of software tool suites (Microsoft Word, Power point, & Excel) and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare company.
