Description

Summary:

This position is part of the Sales Technology function that supports external and internal facing systems. These systems provide portal capabilities to process, display, and conduct daily business with BlueCross and specifically the sales organization. The position provides general system support, business analysis, writing UAT cases, UAT, research. The systems currently under management of the Sales Technology function include Blue Edge, Incentives Commission Management System, Salesforce.com and Healthcare.gov.

Accountabilities:

1. Supports Agents and Consumers on Technical issues related to systems through incoming calls. Troubleshoot/resolve issues.
2. Involved in process change and redesign to implement improvements to support the business units.
3. Identify opportunities and recommends solutions that increases automation and resolves system deficiencies.
4. Collaborates with business to understand requirements and capabilities
5. Support new products and enhancements as well as helping write detailed business use cases.
6. Responsible for gathering of information/Analytics, design/development of reporting, and regular report production.
7. Participates in work groups or committees impacting systems.
8. Help identify business gaps, areas of improvement.
9. Involvement with ETL process for new as well as existing projects.
10. Collaborate with sales, product management, IT, underwriting, service, membership, operations and other functional areas to advance an integrated approach for development and implementation.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree and 3 years of sales operations experience with at least 1 of those years being salesforce.com experience required. In lieu of a degree, must have 7 years of sales operations experience with at least 3 of those years being salesforce.com experience required.
- Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and interpret data
- In-depth knowledge of Blue Edge/DPM or other consumer portal experience
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated good organizations skills
- Desire to excel and ability to work at times under pressure, handling multiple responsibilities and projects
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office suite especially Excel and Access
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong work ethic, flexible
