Manager Digital & Consumer Analytics (Job Number:10335)
Description
Summary:
Responsible for overseeing consumer and digital analytics platforms and testing, leading personalization initiatives and informing strategy development across all digital products and experiences. Also manages a team of business and consumer insights analysts on the Consumer and Digital Experience team. The position will achieve the objectives of BCBSMN by establishing on-going tracking and reporting mechanisms that allow the organization to better understand where, how and when to engage with new and existing consumers.
Accountabilities:
1. Research, implement and manage analytics platforms and resources that provide support to digital and enterprise-wide strategy & tactics.
2. Engage with key stakeholders and business owners to discuss initial product ideas and anticipated high-level project needs and resources.
3. Lead the development and implementation of consumer analytics and insights, collaborating with partners and leaders to execute.
4. Provide overarching support on all projects throughout the development cycle to ensure successful delivery of project scope and deliverables.
5. Anticipate, quantify and resolve problems and issues with requirements, product development and resource allocation.
6. Develop and lead sessions to provide training and support of the new products, tools and services.
7. Present and share key analytics insights, trends and recommendations to individuals throughout the BCBSMN organization
8. Manage on-going production load and process for BA/Insights team.
9. Provide mentorship and guidance to entire interactive BA/Insights team.
10. Develop and oversee effective testing mechanisms, methods and tools.
11. Manages the department including interviewing and hiring employees following required EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines and ensuring employees receive the proper training. Conducts performance evaluation, and is responsible for managing employees, including skill and career development, policy administration, coaching on performance management and behavior, employee relations and cost control.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or an applicable field and 7 years in previous business analyst role (healthcare, tech, etc.) with a minimum of 3 years focused on digital analytics, reporting and tools or 11 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years of direct management experience
- Strong knowledge of digital landscape and emerging industry trends
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends among information
- Experience tracking, leveraging and sharing real-time digital insights
- Proven knowledge and experience with popular insights platforms (Omniture, WebTrends, Google Analytics, etc.)
- A strong interest in, and knowledge of, how consumer-focused organizations utilize data, insights, tracking and reports to better understand and engage with their consumers.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Record of success balancing strategic, analytical, creative, and operational teams to effectively implement and execute digital initiatives.
- Results-oriented approach driven by organizational and consumer goals
- Ability to embody BCBSMN values and support vision
- Experience in working with variety of businesses across an enterprise
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters, advanced degree and/or MBA highly desirable
- Experience leading a digital analytics, reporting or other team
- Knowledge and experience with A/B and multivariate testing solutions (Optimizely, SiteSpect, CoreMetrics, etc)
- Familiarity with healthcare technology products, systems and tools
- Ability to interface / consult individuals from various levels of the enterprise
- A strong interest in, and knowledge of, how healthcare organizations utilize data, tracking and reports to better understand and engage with their consumers.
- Knowledge of healthcare market (value chain, market dynamics, regulations).
