Summary:
This position is responsible for ongoing management of assigned health & wellness programs. This includes vendor management, ongoing operations, service delivery, and the development and maintenance of the value story. Serves as the primary business contact for vendors supporting Integrated Health Management and Internal Stakeholders. The incumbent will work with strategic procurement to manage contracts and service level agreements. The incumbent will provide training, subject matter expertise, and program oversight to internal and external customers. This position will influence innovation to maximize program delivery and deliver best in class user experiences and outcomes.
Accountabilities:
1. Collaborate with product management, sales, vendors and clinical experts to assess market trends, define outcomes, develop value story, and lead opportunities to enhance assigned wellness programs.
2. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, key BCBSMN personnel, vendor and group contacts and brokers/consultants.
3. Collaborate with account sales and account management teams to renew and/or secure new business address customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Ensure seamless integrations and implementations with other health and wellness programs
5. Proactively identify risk areas and intervene to prevent occurrence.
6. Maintain deep understanding and representation of the business and clinical value of vendor services through aggregate and account specific analytics, process measures, and satisfaction data, to include the use of data to drive service delivery enhancements.
7. Participate and represent vendor(s) with the Blue Cross Blue Shield Corporate Vendor Oversight Committee and develop strategic action plans with vendor to address gaps identified in the Vendor Scorecard.
8. Act as escalation point for Health & Wellness specialists and ensure all complaints and escalated issues are tracked, addressed, resolved and communicated as appropriate.
9. Projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Business, HR and 6 years experience in the healthcare industry to include account/vendor management or client management experience or 10 years experience in the healthcare industry to include account/vendor management or client management experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3 years experience with wellness services/products
- Demonstrated relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Persuasive oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to contribute healthy and positive dynamics to the work team
- Demonstrated relationship building capability with assigned accounts and with internal staff
- Able to influence internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems. Also, highly organized with a track record of delivering a high level of client service in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Health Plan Clinical Program Operations
